We, too, are deriving most of our vegetables from the 40m sq of garden. It’s good exercise for me, but Sue and Lillian do most of the real work. It’s also just a nice place to sit and chat, watch the dogs or think.

Hi Mary, yes they are from Forme of Cury. I think we cheated and used green food colouring. In the past I have also used minced parsley with eggyolk and cornflour. Works well too, but not quite as luminous. Rhys

oh it is so distressing to lose birds to such an end, foxes are such clever hunters. We have spent many hours hunting foxes. Bill says foxes will come to a whistle but if you dont shoot them on the first go, they wont come to a whistle again.
I only have a .22 rifle now, usually we used high power rifles for hunting foxes.
Do you think it might be possible to get an approved trap like the ones used to catch feral cats ?
Have you asked the pasture protection board about possible solutions ?

Wonderful to have some sunny winter days I just hope it extends to next weekend as I go to the Goulburn Market on saturday and on sunday to Hall Market for the first time.

Not such good news about the lesion I had removed from my thumb last week at Nepean Private. Doctor is going to operate again on 12 July and amputate my thumb. Oh well I guess one has to adjust to the changes as they come, I am trying to stay positive. I may not be back to meeting until after that. Don’t think we have lost interest, I look forward to more events.
